Bowden Ranch

It is a steep hike up the ridge over Johnson Avenue, where you can see amazing views all the way from Cayucos to the Nipomo Dunes. Connects to the Reservoir Canyon trail after 3 miles.

Bowden Ranch Trailhead: Going south on Johnson Avenue, turn Left onto Lizzie Street (across from French Hospital). Follow Lizzie Street up until it dead ends in a cul-de-sac. Trailhead is to the right, near sign.

Cerro San Luis

Commonly called Madonna Mountain, this is one of the volcanic “Seven Sisters,” with easy to moderate hiking trails.

Cerro San Luis Trailhead: To access Cerro San Luis Natural Reserve trailhead turn right onto Fernandez Road just before the southbound 101 Marsh Street on-ramp.
